The first stage in any treatment is to have a full assessment with an orthotist in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the child’s condition. Our paediatric orthotist will then discuss their findings and professional opinions to determine the most effective course of treatment, along with goal setting and any other appropriate factors. Measurements, casts and scans can then be taken to ensure a well fitting and comfortable orthosis.
